Göç with a TV premiere

Göç – Stepping Across the Border will be broadcasted over Channel 1, BNT at 15.25, Saturday, 28 May 2011.

Scriptwriter of the 51 documentary completed in 2010 is Daniela Gorcheva. The film is directed by Andrey Getov and Irina Nedeva. Showing what it means to step across the border – not only across the state border but also across the border of tolerability. A journey beyond the border of oblivion more than two decades after the forcible name-changing (1984 – 1985) and the mass deportation (1989) to the Republic of Turkey of thousands of Bulgarian citizens-ethnic Turks.
